Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane adhesive. When exposed to moisture, the adhesive reacts and creates a foaming action that fills as it bonds. Gorilla Glue has a working time of 20 minutes. The glue is brown in color, but dries beige and is totally waterproof. Gorilla Glue is incredibly strong and bonds all types of wood, including pressure-treated wood. It also bonds stone, metal, ceramics, foam, glass, leather and more. Once dry, the product can be sanded, stained, painted and varnished. Due to its foaming action, the glue offers greater coverage, up to three times more than others. This glue is unaffected by cold and extreme cold, and does not decompose when exposed to rain and snow.
The Gorilla Glue formula bonds materials that typical all-purpose adhesives won't hold, including wood, stone, ceramics, glass, foam and even dissimilar materials. It's waterproof and temperature-resistant, which means it can be used for interior and exterior projects and repairs.
Originally used as a commercial adhesive for hard-to-bond materials. Once something is bonded, it won't come undone - it's expected to survive for years after the repair.
