The LaCie Rugged Mini has all the features of the popular Rugged drive: shock and drop resistance, and a rubberized casing for extra protection. But the Rugged Mini is also rain- and pressure-resistant: Even after being driven under a one-ton vehicle, it still works! Thanks to its small size, you can take it anywhere you go; its Rugged external case protects it from hazards such as drops, bumps or compression.
The speed of USB 3.0
With the Rugged Mini, you get the speed of USB 3.0 combined with full backwards compatibility with USB 2.0, which means you can use it with virtually any computer. You can transfer a 700MB video file in less than 7 seconds with USB 3.0, compared to 25 seconds with USB 2.0*.
