- The wireless range of the device and grips is 300 metres and, with the next planned transmission upgrade, the range can reach up to 1.5 km! This makes it ideal for shooting from a drone or car. The grips can be attached to the included rosette mounts for hand-held use. They can also be attached to top-bar gimbals with the included Nucleus-M gimbal adapters.
- The motors are designed to fit 19mm or 15mm rods (with the included bushes). This clamp-on design allows you to easily attach and detach the motors without having to remove any other accessories from your setup. Each motor is fitted with a 0.8 mod, 35-tooth, 32-pitch gear, which is the standard gear size for cinema lenses. The torque of the Nucleus-M motor at 14.8 V is 2.5 Nm.
- Only one power port on your camera needs to be used to power the motors. Simply plug the P-tap power cable into one of the motors, then daisy-chain the rest of the motors using the short 7-pin to 7-pin cables. The motors can be powered from a power source with an output voltage of between 7.2V and 24V.
- The handheld is powered by two 18650 rechargeable batteries (batteries not included). When fully charged, the batteries in the handles last up to 2 days, while those in the remote control last up to 10 hours. Remote start / stop is possible by plugging a Nucleus-M R / S compatible cable into the open 7-pin port on a motor. This then gives you R/S capabilities via the handheld device and/or handles.
